PLANNED PROJECTS FROM 2021 

• Start-up loans and financing of initial equipment for 30 women for breeding and keeping animals:
  • Start-up credit of EUR 320 per household: initial purchase of animals, food, salt, initial veterinary examination 
  • One-off grant of EUR 160 per household: materials (rake, trough, wheelbarrow) and training.
• Improvement of the hygienic conditions through the realization of 20 Ecosan toilets in Gofila in cooperation with the BMZ:
  • In Gofila, the people have no access to sanitary facilities,
  • Production of natural fertilizer by returning the nutrients contained in the faeces to agriculture,
  • Improving the quality and quantity of the harvest,
  • Implementation of training courses on site.

• Realization of a sports field incl. equipment in the school centre in Gofila.
• Extension of the college in Gofila by building 4 more classrooms.
• Agriculture:
  • Development of an agricultural concept for the Gofila region,
  • Development of an agricultural school,
  • Cooperation with the government of Burkina Faso, the University of Agriculture,
  • Ensuring adequate food supplies and creating local jobs,
  • Avoidance of escape to the city.
• Extension of the infirmary by the construction of 3 nurses’ accommodations with electricity connection.
• Container with aid supplies in 2021.
• Further projects in the region: water supply, education, vegetable garden, health care.
